Several years ago I watched one of those Nature videos on Netflix. It was a video on life in the Pacific Ocean.
At the time, I felt like it was a way of understanding the nature of Yemaya, Oya and Olokun in ways I hadn't been able to before. Seeing the way Nature creates, sustains and destroys all at the same time, is very beautiful and powerful to see.
In this blog post, I'll be sharing the revelations I received by gaining a deeper understanding of hurricanes and storms. More importantly, I'll be sharing the ways I've been able to apply this knowledge to transform my life.
As I'm introducing Spiritualista Beautique to the world, I am finding myself in places of abundance. I am meeting beautiful and powerful people who influence me and my vision.
One of the things that this current chapter is teaching me, is the ability to be open to change. As a Virgo, I don't always accept change with open arms. I usually like to play around the with the idea of change before I finally commit to it completely.
What I'm learning however, is that when I prayed to Oya for change, she sent me storms that uprooted and transported the seeds that needed to be planted in fertile ground.
In Matthew 17:20, Jesus said,
“Because you have so little faith. Truly I tell you, if you have faith like a grain of mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you.”
What if, principles and values, like faith, are the seeds He's referring to? What if your inability to manifest isn't about the size of your seed, but your ability to nurture and grow the thing that grows from the seed?
What if your request for harmony and peace isn't just in your ability to define it, but more importantly, your ability to nurture the harmony that is already present in your life?
What if the abundance of wealth isn't in your ability to bring it into your reality, but rather your ability to nurture your "Money Tree"?
The storm might feel uncomfortable... But what if the storm is your blessing? What if the storm is rearranging things in your life, uprooting the things that don't serve you, transporting seeds to fertile ground and shifting the ecosystem that currently exists in your mind?
By embracing the principles of Oya and Her winds of Change, I've been able to see the storm as something that is to be surrendered to and embraced.
If you're only paying attention to the distruction She brings, you'll miss out on an opportunity to heal and manifest a new reality.
NURTURE YOUR SEEDS
So, how do you water your seeds? I have three candles that help you with this.
1. Queen Candle

The Queen candle affirmation allows you to acknowledge the things you wish to transform and ushers you into the present and the future by reminding you to envision yourself as the powerful woman you are.
2. Mystic Candle
Not sure who you are, where you're going, what you need to know going forward? The Mystic brings clarity into your life and reminds you that you are co-creating with the Universe.
The affirmation reminds you that you must create from a place of truth, stillness and Love... And that every single answer resides within you.
3. Abundance Candle
Often times we're so focused on material wealth, that we diminish the abundance that is present in our lives.
With the Abundance candle, you're asked to go within and acknowledge all the ways that abundance presents itself in your life. Do you have an abundance of principles that aren't in alignment with who you want to be? Use the Abundance candle to make the necessary adjustments.
Storms seem to an interruption of the good. But in truth, their presence is a sign of Abundance trying to manifest itself.
I pray that the upcoming season brings you the vocabulary to verbalize the things that bring you happiness, joy and harmony.
