MEET YOUR HOST
Raised Seventh-Day Adventist, I grew up learning the Bible and striving for righteousness. But as I began to know the Divine for myself, I found myself asking new questions, seeking answers that resonated with me. That journey let me through many iterations of self-discovery —each revelation showing there was always more to explore.

Along the way, I realized how few spaces truly honor the experiences, perspectives, and ancestral practices of Black women — especially within mainstream wellness. Too often there is pressure to confirm to distant, clinical versions of spirituality or groupthink. There are few spaces where we can reflect freely, explore deeply, and celebrate even temporary truths without judgment.
This podcast is that space. Here, we go beyond dogma and belief systems to touch on the universal principles that underlie them. And at the heart of it all is iwa pele - the art of living with peace, gentleness, and integrity. Each conversation, reflection, and story is an invitation to cultivate harmony within yourself and with the world around you. To move through life with grounded grace, and to honor journey with the tenderness it deserves.
